Hey, I’m Kayla - the writer and provider of all Piscean Eclectic content, plus services like tarot and aura readings, energetic and elemental witchery, custom rituals, intuitive & self discovery guidance, meditation poetry, crystal maps, dream interpretations, channeled messages, and more.
I want to share some of what I’ve learned, observed, downloaded, channeled, experienced, experimented on, and conjured over many, many years of being a reader, energetic practitioner, guide, teacher, and witch.
More of the backstory is below but first — let’s dig into what I’m going to be sharing in this space here on Substack!
WHAT I’M WRITING / SHARING HERE:
Most of the journals I’ll reference are physical notebooks in my spiritual studio, on my desk and shelves, in a few bags, and whereabouts. Some of the things I’ll share here will be from my digital archives, too.
I pull from a lot of these wells of info for my student sessions as a spiritual guide and reader, I use them for my own purposes. Everything I share here is something I believe in, use, appreciate, or would recommend.
You might see a mix of:
Tarot spreads, card and symbol notes, revelations
Notes and studies on the auric and energetic field
Nature notes, plant uses, animal notes, crystal uses, observations on planet and eco, rituals with water/fire et al
Energetic notes, studies on chakras, somatics, frequencies
Studies and ref. on colors, symbols, linguistics
Revelations from student sessions — excluding private info/references to them/you. More general things anyone can use.
Exercises, activities, or mini-rituals for all kinds of purposes — self discovery, self relationship, self centering & nervous system, alignment, intuition, expansion and expression and more.
Studies and experiments in metaphysics, psychedelics, hypnotics, and other mind-body work, Universe work, et al
Notes on all things existential, mortal, immortal, and otherwise
Poetry, word clippings, spiritual prose, readable meditations (possibly also audio — let’s see), affirmations, thinking prompts, et al
Occasional fun things like spiritually minded spotify playlists, deck recs, stories, and more.
FREQUENCY OF POSTS:
I am not the type to commit to a consistent schedule here or anywhere. What I hope you’ll do is come along with me for a more unpredictable ride — one where I might write here once per day, once per week, or sporadically in a month’s time. My goal is to write 2-3 times per week but things may fluctuate and I appreciate grace on that.
What I promise not to do is SPAM you, nor GHOST you. Let’s fall somewhere in between.
BACKSTORY:
I have always liked to save and organize my knowledge, my thoughts, my experiments and observations, feelings, dreams and beyond in notebooks and journals. (I fancy to fill a sketchbook or planner, too). Even as a small child and from then on, I could always be found with pens and markers and pencils, notebooks or journals or paper dispersed, scraps of other things I might have hoarded — other papers, doilies, ribbons — plus photos I’d had printed. With my $10 allowance, I might choose clipboards and post-its and pens over candy or toys — verrry early on. It was always about documenting and filing away, harvesting for later.
Today, I might open a Google Doc or another digital notespace first — but I will also frequently reach for my various journals and notebooks and notepads and whiteboards et al, IRL. Some are themed for specific topics or projects and tend to be more sacred, more organized, or more protected. Some of these, I’ll keep forever. Others are loose for random notes and quick blurts of ideas. These, I may tear from to file useful things away later, and even toss away parts I don’t need.
My online folders and drives are also thusly assorted, organized, and referenced as needed. More of my business-forward documentation lives here — students files, social content, the draft of a couple books I’m working on in the field, activities and exercises I use for student copy, administrative & pricing things, etc.
Anyway — all of this is to say, I was looking for a place to share some of the more useful, healing, interesting, helpful, contemplative, or lovely things I’ve found or learned, to hold time and attention to deeper topics than social posts, and to just *be* somewhere that doesn’t feel like a social feed going 90 mph.
I guess I’ve been looking for a place like LiveJournal since 2004 but that’s a conversation for another post.
Note on the future of this content:
I plan on opening up a paid tier here for some of my more indulgent, specific, requested, or spicy material but there will always be a free version for the people. I plan to share my most healing, helpful, or accessible information for free.
